The Old Water Works - Flat 1

On first impression, this property was very contemporary and bright. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious.

Unfortunately there are many points that I would like to highlight, which may help in the future. 1. Poor signage. 2. On arrival the building looked tired and uncared for. 3. Water pressure was very poor. 4. Hot water was only available for short periods of time. 5. Unfinished bathroom 6. Lack of kitchen equipment - kitchen towels and chopping boards etc. 7. Stained sofas 8. Sticky floors 9. Dirty mirrors in the bedroom. 10. Insufficient lighting within the bedroom. 11. Poor insulation, which means it was constantly cold.

The apartment was comfortable and clean with heating if we needed it. The oven and kitchen facilities all worked fine. Nice peaceful setting.

We did not have much information about the facilities ie. Internet password. There were some leaflets about tourist attractions. Jigsaw puzzles etc. Bathroom was lovely. Lighting was a bit insufficient.

The flat was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

It was hard to find. There are no pictures from the outside, so I've put one on here to help others.

Wonderful place and location. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful location in the town of Wadebridge which is perfect for exploring Cornwall.

Maybe the whole communication piece with booking.com from the time the booking was made. Apart from a receipt with the name of the place, there was no further communication or confirmation.

The property was so perfect for our family holiday, spacious , fully equipped , comfy beds and a very luxurious bath and shower! The hosts are the loveliest family, so friendly and welcoming

Not a negative in anyway The property is on a very narrow country road so if you arent used to that it can be quite daunting when met by a large vehicle.

Loved the location Peaceful

Bit cold But host did bring another heater for us so no problem
