Nice and quiet location.Decor was lovely.Kitchen was well equipped

Negotiating the stairs in the night they are tricky. Also dust on the floor under the bed and the beds very very low

The location was very peaceful, and the views were amazing - never been anywhere more peaceful. Kendal town center was only a 5-minute drive from the property, and it was lovely. I also met Howard, and he was very polite and easy to chat with.

I feel like that place is missing one thing (particularly in this heat) - air conditioning. Luckily, the host provided a fan; otherwise, I would have struggled to sleep, I think.

Brilliant location, just outside the lake District, also very close to Heysham. It was easy to find as we received very clear directions from the owners, which helped a ton as our ferry only got in from Heysham at 12am. Easy parking outside too. It was a perfect location for us traveling between the lake District and Stavely over the weekend. Lovely bright, modern house to stay in, we were both very comfortable there. Very quiet also, lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning.

There was no toiletries provided for the shower. It is always appreciated when the hosts provide shampoo and shower gel. But luckily we had brought our own.
