Hotel 2000 Valkenburg

Location

It was very cold in the hotel room because the heating was only turned on in the evening for a few hours. Breakfast was of low budget quality.The proprerty was not well maintained. Parking costs of EUR 8 per day is too high for a Parking made of pebbles, it was very hard to carry our luggage up the hill to the main entrance of the hotel.

It is common that when you are alone you (relatively) pay a little bit more than when two. However, this time the room was very small and had a small single bed. Therefore, I do not understand why I had to pay more. Further, the room was outdated and the sink was broken. Just to mention, I missed the Dutch hagelslag for on the warm sandwiches during breakfast. And the chocopasta was a B-brand.

Een kamer geboekt voor 1 nacht om te gaan fietsen in Limburg. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kon na het uitchecken zelfs gratis douchen en omkleden in een kamer nadat ik bezweet terug kwam van het fietsen. Ontbijt is keurig en genoeg. Kamer was heel netjes en keurig schoongemaakt (ik zat in het nieuwe gedeelte) Kortom: ik ben heel erg tevreden!

We visited Valkenburg for a first time and the Hotel 2000, is a clean and cozy hotel with affordable price for a night.

Prima hotel op loopafstand van het centrum van Valkenburg. Lekker ontbijtbuffet inbegrepen.

Breakfast. Good comfortable beds. Clean especially the bedlinnen and towels.

When we arrived in a cold room we were disappointed as we were expecting it to be warm as outside was cold. We put the heating on and luckily when we returns at 20.30 it was warmer. No heating in the bathroom. In the booking It Said all the taxes etc were included, we had to pay €6 toerist tax which we were not expecting.

I think €250 per night is expensive, certainly when you don't get the comfort you were hoping for, it's an old-fashioned hotel.

Ruim opgezet, kamer zijn zeker schoon, alleen jammer van de gescheurde kitranden en douchedeur met zeepresten (anti lekstrip) In de ontbijtzaal wat achterstallig schoonmaakwerk vwb spinnewebben en dode vliegen in de lamp Wanneer dit even opgefrist wordt een prima accommodatie
