"Spotless, well-equipped, and family-friendly—we’ll definitely return and recommend it."

10.0

The facility was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette was lovely and thoughtfully stocked with a toaster, kettle, oven, stove, microwave, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, kitchen roll, and even essential cleaning supplies. A carton of milk was ready in the fridge, along with tea and coffee sachets and some delicious cookies. The beach is a 2-5 minute walk down the cliff. The compound was safe for the kids to play in, and they enjoyed making new friends with other children and families. We will definitely be staying here again and will happily recommend it to our family and friends.

We loved everything. Nothing to dislike. It was a bit cloudy and windy, though; I can't blame the UK weather. However, we swam in the sea during midday.

Have stayed on this site for the last 5 years. This was a different chalet this year. Happy with the homely modern chalet. The site is in a great location

No hoover and asked to hoover before we left 🫣 Bit of a trip hazard from lounge to double bedroom as carpet has lifted(just needs refitting under the bar) Toilet flush only partly working were told someone would fix it. Were here for two weeks still broken. Lovely chalet though would come again

"The perfect summer family holiday house."

8.0

1. Location! 5 mins walk to the sandy beach and 20 mins walk to the east point of the island to meet the sunrise from the top of the cliff. Sandown is close as well with dinosaurs' museum and some excellent play areas (free and payable) for kids. Some main bus routes are not far away as well, but we drove a car for which plenty of parking spaces provided. 2. It is a "capital" small house built from bricks so feel like "normal" one, not a caravan. The interior is relatively new and simple, some nice pictures attached to the walls. It was summer and plenty of windows provided nice ventilation. But during the cold season there are 3 electric heaters on the walls. 3 .Provided with everything the family needs to live - all appliances to cook/eat and wash. Hot water from electric heaters. 4. Comfortable main bed. Reclining chairs and sofa. Portable big dinner table with chairs. 5. Silence - quiet neighbours and far away from main roads.

Cleaners were formal - all the visible surfaces were alright but anything above 1.7 meters high or hidden under the sofas haven't been cleaned for ages. Believe me, I'm not a demanding customer, but when I had to retrieve my son's toy from under the sofa my hand ended up in quite a messy dust-hairy mixture. Ironically, local rules demand to leave everything clean and tidy and even to undress beds. But here is a catch - mattress and duvet covers were not cleaned for quite a while as I found some dust there. The shower drain was in need of cleaning to function properly as well (some people could find this task unbearable) All I had to do is to unscrew decorative plate and remove someone's dirty wet hairs wrapped around the drain hole. Again, it didn't spoil the overall impression, but for the price of over 100£/night it could be a little bit cleaner. Initial letters didn't contain some useful information and we had to resolve some puzzles. The sink and basin hot water switcher is on the left wall in the kitchen. It is a small tank with a heater, so it takes 20-30 minutes to heat up water properly and run out of hot water in roughly 5-10 minutes, but enough to clean dishes. The hot shower switcher is on the other side of the wall where the shower heater is attached. The same is for the towel rail - the switcher is right above the floor in the small bedroom.
