Hartoft St - 2 bed near river

The house was lovely and clean. It's really quiet and relaxing and bit too far away from the centre.

There was parking on the road, but it was a very tight road. It was a struggle to get up and down in a big vehicle.

Brilliant location as it is a short walk by the river into town. Snacks were a nice touch. Easy instructions. Overall a comfortable stay. We would re stay and would recommend a stay to other visitors.

No extractor fan in bathroom. Unable to turn off the heating in the bedrooms.

Real home from home. Excellent location. Comfy bed. Great attention to detail. Welcome package was a nice touch. Spotless house. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Well equipped, clean and spacious property with all the facilities that we required. Lovely short walk on the river bank to the centre of York. Location was perfect with close proximity to Barbican centre.

The street was narrow and parking was tight to manoeuvre. This could be problematic for larger cars.

A nice sized house which had everything we needed

The location was great, we could walk along the river into central in about 10-15min. The house was very cute, quiet and functional and the staff was great at communicating beforehand. The kitchen was well equipped and there were clear instructions to everything. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and it was perfect for 4 people - we were travelling with family. Plenty of street parking but the spaces are quite tight (we had an SUV) so require some skills to park. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! :)

Nothing critical. Just to note, the stairs at the top is very narrow - easy to misstep and fall when you walk from the rooms to the bathroom so if you have elderly or kids, you need to be very careful. We didn't have any issues but worth noting. The hot water won't be enough for 4 people showering one after another, so you need to split your shower timings 2 people at a time. Need to wait about 30min in between and do not take long showers.
