"Great location, not as clean as we’d have expected."

Great location, size was perfect for our requirements

The property wasn’t particularly clean, there were hairs in the bath, dog hair on the furniture and an empty tablet box in the bedroom drawer from a previous occupant, so it obviously hadn’t been thoroughly checked and cleaned.

"Peaceful relaxing"

Peaceful . Quiet .

It had a fridge but no freezer . Thing like scissors / need replacing . Tv had apps like netflicks but wouldn't accept my email . So in evening made do with basic channels .

"Cockroach infestation"

The location was great and as advertised. The host gave a prompt response to my concerns.

The house is infested with cockroaches. The host knew this from the previous guests and should have informed me and booking.com should have offered an alternative. I contacted customer service twice and I still have not received a reply. I would like to know when I am going to receive the refund that the host offered me.

"Stay away cockroach infestation"

We booked this property from 14/07/25/to the 18/07/25 we got there on the Monday evening to find there were a few cockroaches in the bedrooms i tried to speak with the property owner on Tuesday morning and was unable to so i left a voice mail he got back to me later that day i told him about the cockroaches he said he was unable to do anything that day and would send someone the next day we thought he would send in pest control but he just sent a cleaner and cleared up what he could see when we got back from work Wednesday evening there were even more cockroaches we left his property on Wednesday i found alternative accommodation for the next 2 nights he then text me saying why would three men be bothered by a few cockroaches he also said we had planted the cockroaches saying our our job had probably been cancelled and i was looking to get my money back that way. not a very nice character i would definitely not recommend staying at this place

Perfect location, very peaceful but only a 15 minute drive to Ipswich. Great local pubs etc. to check out with a variety of different food offerings.

"Excellent stay in at the Cosy barn"

We really enjoyed our stay. The barn was cosy, comfortable, and very well equipped. We felt completely relaxed and at home. We would not hesitate to recommend the cosy barn and would definitely stay there again.
