Hemlock Manor

Overall our stay was nice, but I was disturbed by the amount of ants running around on the kitchen countertops, sink and kitchen table. We had planned to cook at the cabin, but that couldn’t happen because of the ants. Unfortunately we bought this food before we ever checked in and saw the ants… so it was all wasted. Also if you can’t handle a ton of steps then don’t rent this cabin… just getting to the top to enter the cabin is tough. Other than the ants… the place was clean! It was very homey and we enjoyed our time there.

Needs work. Doesn’t appear anyone even cares about anything other than just keeping it rented out. Vents are rusted, air returns COVERED in dust and nasty, molded shower curtains, unusable hot tub. The nasty panties just grossed us all out. Won’t stay here again or with this rental company.

Nice place. It was a great spot for our outside couples massage. Very relaxing. Even "George" the black bear enjoyed it! LOL

A couple of outside smaller tables on the deck would be nice to have to place drinks on and also a small table in the upstairs bathroom to place items on and a couple of end tables to use when relaxing un the pretty family room. The lights were not very bright and it was hard for the entire group to see. There was only one dish towel and no dish cloth for washing up the dishes or wiping down the counter tops. Just a few little "extras" would be nice to make it feel even more comfy, inviting and homey. Just my and my group's thoughts.
