"A beautiful place, a lovely stay, the perfect place for relaxing"

We loved the location. The cabin was really spacious. The outside deck was safe and secure for our dog to come in and out freely. The hot tub was lovely. The view of the lake was beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The water pressure in the shower was weak, however the water temperature was good and hot. Our personal preference is a firmer mattress, the bed was comfortable but just too soft for us.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night getaway. The location was perfect, so quiet on a night and during the day. York was a 15 min taxi away costing £15. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of booking, do it you won't be disappointed.
