The apartment was located on the second floor of a building in Old San Juan. It was within easy walking distance of all that Old San Juan had to offer: Two ancient forts, bars, restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc. There was a great restaurant that specialized in breakfasts about 50 feet from the apartment: The Mallorcas. We never met the owners of our apartment , as we were given a code to a key box by the door. Two keys: a room key and a front door key. This worked well. We replaced the keys in the box when our stay was over. The room was scrupulously clean. There was a medium sized fridge with a small freezer, and a microwave. A coffee machine (and decent coffee) were provided as well. The bed was comfortable. We wanted fresh towels after several days stay and I phoned the contact number we were given and fresh towels were placed outside our room door. Thank you.

The shower worked well, but the water was only warm as it was heated by a small in-line heater. However, Puerto Rico is so hot most of the time that a tepid shower was all we needed. The only negative point we found was the air-conditioner. It was a self-contained unit in the corner of the room and vented through a hole in the door to the balcony. The air conditioner was extremely noisy (even with the fan set to low) and only about 18 inches from the head of the bed. We were left with the choice of the unit's noise, or turning it off and experiencing room temperatures in the 80s. Eventually we elected to leave the unit on, but buy some ear-plugs at the local supermarket. This resolved the problem.

The perfect place to stay in Viejo San Juan! The location is great and the place has everything you need need and more. We stayed in a room with a beautiful terrace with a view, very recommended!

The location of the apartment is amazing and it has a balcony that is much bigger than the pictures look like. It was the perfect spot for enjoying the morning and evening sun - it's also quite private and the beautiful san francisco church is right across the street. The apartment is in the beautiful old town and we walked a few times to Escambron beach which was about 25mins along the beautiful coastline. The space is beautiful with lots of natural light and there was coffee available for the mornings and water left in the fridge for us which was appreciated after a long journey. Marly was our contact and she was very responsive and helpful. She let us leave our bags in the next room at check out so that we could go and explore before moving to our new space. We would stay here again!

If the apartment had a stove top and kettle it would be perfect for a self contained apartment. We didn't realise there was only a microwave. The street is quite noisy in the early hours of the morning with the street cleaners but we got used to it - bring ear plugs. The bathroom could be improved by having a lock on the door and a better shower screen that stops the water running out.

Security was important and the locked front gate was great. Did appreciate that alot
