The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a wonderful terrace. The location was perfect for exploring the historic centre of Lecce, and several supermarkets were a few minutes walk away. Our host Alessandro was very kind and generous, and immediately made us feel welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

I was met by Alessandro, who explained how everything worked and where the nearest supermarket etc were. He was very kind and left a lovely welcome pack, he also recommended some local restaurants. The apartment was spotless and spacious, the shower was fantastic, bedlinen and towels were very good quality and the apartment had plenty of crockery and cookware. The very large sunny terrace was wonderful, equipped with lots of seating, sun loungers and a football game. Set in a great location, very close to the old walled town in an area with lots of restaurants and coffee shops close hand. I can't recommend this apartment and lovely Lecce enough. This is a great apartment; clean, comfortable bed, well equipped, great quiet position and with a huge roof terrace. The welcome pack of wine, olives, crisps and a large bowl of fruit was very welcome, as we arrived after midnight! Our late arrival was not a problem to the owner (Alessandro) as he arranged for his brother and girlfriend to not only provide keys and introduction to apartment, but also to pick us up at the local bus station and drive us to the flat! (it was a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station). Very kind and appreciated late at night!! Through the week Alessandro provided us via text with recommendations for visits, public transport and restaurants in the area. This apartment building felt very secure with a key for the front gates, key for the terrrace and finally the key for the front door. It is well positioned on a one way street, five minutes walk to the Porta Napoli, and then a further 10 minutes to the centre of Lecce along pedestrianised streets. In the other direction it's a two minute walk to a supermarket. This is a great flat for a couple, but it also has a 2nd bedroom with single bed. We had a very restful holiday. Thank you!

Not much could be improved, but possibly a long mirror in the main bedroom would be helpful (there's one in the 2nd bedroom). And also maybe a few instructions for use of the TV...it confused me, but I don't think there were any English speaking channels.
