Sondela was amazing, the swimming facilities and the animals was great. Aubrey at the gate was very helpful at arrival when reception was not informed of our booking.

The upstairs toilet was blocked and disgusting on arrival, when we reported the only came the next day mind you the toilet upstairs is open on top. The cleaner never came to clean the unit, no broo.s or mops to at least self clean. We were not allowed to enter as reception was not i formed of our arrival. Thanks to Aubrey at the gate contacting everyone even the owner to try and confirm our booking.

The house was bigger than we expected, neat and clean. A good place to break away from daily routines and just distress

The showers needed a bit of cleaning and maintenance. The one fridge was smelly- cupboard hinge was broken. We walked in and saw there was a puddle of water on the upstairs table..roof leaking. We did report it..hopefully it gets sorted out.

The house was very spacious.

There was no mop in the house, no enough or new tissues in the house on arrival.

The location was good, very nice setting in the bush

Great location as we got to see Impala, Giraffe, Zebras, warthogs, boma was nice with two fireplaces, and it was close to the pool.

We were disappointed with the property for several reasons. When we arrived, we had to wait over 30 minutes at the front gate because reception couldn’t find our reservation. The front door couldn’t be opened from the inside, so we had to walk around the house to get in. Several exterior lights were hanging loosely by their wires, which didn’t feel safe. The bedroom door near the kitchen had a faulty lock that kept jamming, making it difficult to secure the room. The lighting in the bathrooms was poor, making them feel dim and uninviting. In addition, the upstairs fan didn’t work and was covered in a thick layer of red dust, which was unhygienic and unpleasant.
