The house was spacious and have comfort beds and a nice boma braai outside.

The dishwasher did not wash the dishes clean, we have to wash it again. The basins in the bathroom are not practical, the water mess all over the place when you use the basin.

The amenities were great, we really enjoyed the fire pit outside!

Excellent stay. Enjoyed every day we spend here. The pool area is large but the pools are very small for a big resort.

The place was beautiful

My friends and I recently stayed at this location, and while the place itself was beautiful, there were several aspects of our stay that were disappointing. The weather was unfortunately bad during our visit, which is outside the control of the venue. However, the experience was further spoiled by several issues within the control of the management. Firstly, the cleanliness of the accommodation left much to be desired. The bed linen was not changed, and the blankets were not clean, which was very disappointing and uncomfortable. Additionally, the security situation was chaotic. The security guards were unprofessional and seemed disorganized, with everyone doing their own thing. This lack of coordination made the place feel less secure. To make matters worse, our check-in process took a full hour. I was told to pay R270, despite my email clearly stating the amount due was R220. This discrepancy and the insistence on following verbal instructions over written confirmation was very frustrating. Overall, while the location has its natural beauty, the lack of cleanliness, disorganized security, and the unpleasant check-in experience overshadowed our stay. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests. Personally I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Sondela is a perfect family resort with wonderful facilities. Activity programme's for the whole family. Driving in and passing Giraffe and Wildebeest on the way in is a treat as well. The unit had great space and the layout was perfect for a family stay. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We weren't able to get the oven working, not sure if it was something we were doing wrong. It is peak summer here and the beds had no flat sheets, so there was a fitted sheet and then a duvet which is just impossible to sleep under considering the heat.
