Makhato Bush Lodge 111

The unit is spacious and has plenty of accommodation for up to 8 guests with 3 bathrooms. The firepit and braai were wonderful for outdoor cooking and relaxation. There is also full DSTV available in the unit.

There were a few too many items broken or missing in the unit to give 5 stars, but the owner/maintenance person responded immediately to ensure they were replaced or repaired the same day.

Lovely lodge, friendly animals, peaceful surroundings. Great weekend away.

Slightly far from the main reception.

The setting is amazing. The house is ok with enough space for a family of 6. Nice couches in front of the tv and play area for the kids upstairs.

Chair on balcony broken, seat of chair at the table broken, marble plate next to braai broken, handle of knife broken, just lots of small maintenance/need replacement issues.

The lodge was amazing, staff very friendly and facilities and activities great. Would definitely go again and highly recommend

Position and view

Bit dated

Loved the nature and the animals roaming around the house. The property was lovely, enough rooms and enough space. My boyfriend and I and our couple friends enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed chilling upstairs in the balcony. We had such nice relaxing time, away from everything with beautiful views.

At some point our toilet got blocked, and no we did not throw anything that was not toilet paper. That is one thing i did not like.
