The Vistula Rose B & B

The breakfast was excellent. The manager is great and helpful. The neighborhood is in transition and because of that it appeared to be in a questionable area of the city. Litter in the front yard doesn't help.

The outside appearance, yard, paint on parts of the building need work. Guests should be able to use the front door not the side door entry to a hallway. The yard was a mess, uncut grass and litter.

Room is sumptuous with comfy decor. Breakfast was unbelievable

Full breakfast at 9 am. If you need to get out earlier you can take take out fruit, yogurt, muffin and coffee.

Einzigartige, toll ausgestattete riesige Räume mit besonderem Flair. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit zurückversetzt.

Gorgeous old home with a wonderful and generous innkeeper. Patrick brought lots of color with him to every breakfast!!! He was also incredibly kind, offering breakfast to our friend who came to pick us up. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

It is walkable to downtown, but driving the opposite direction makes it clear that this area of Toledo is currently undergoing a lot of change.

Das B&B liegt im ältesten Stadtteil von Toledo am Rande einer grossen Grünfläche. Man sieht das es ein altes Geäude ist. Aber wenn man das Haus betritt wird man in die viktoriansche Zeit versetzt. Wir wurden herzlich von Patrick dem Inkeeper begrüsst und direkt wurde ine Hausbesichtigung gemacht. Er hat für uns ein Zimmer mit einem grösseren Bett bereitgemacht. wir konnten uns das ganze haus anschauen. Innen ist es liebevoll bis in kleinste Detail eingerichtet. Ausserdem hat er uns noch Tips fürs Abendessen gegeben. Das Beste war noch das wir das ganze Haus für uns alleine hatten, da keine anderen Gäste an dem Tag da waren. Patrick hat uns dann verlassen, ist aber jederzeit erreichbar. Morgens hatten wir ein tolles frühstück von ihm zubereitet bekommen. Wir haben uns noch ein Zeit lang mit ihm über alles mögliche unterhalten. Das Hotel war eine Geburtstaagsüberraschung für meine Frau. Sie schwärmt heute noch davon. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Das Gebäude und besonders Patrick haben einen bleibenden guten Eindruck hinterlassen.

Staying in a renovated Victorian mansion was a real treat. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. My sister and I stayed in the Hannah Matilda which had a lovely sitting area perfect for sitting together in the evenings. The innkeeper, Patrick, cooked us a beautify breakfast each morning and was the perfect host, giving us lots of information about the area and house. We enjoyed our trip tremendously.
