Sandgate retreat hemsby 2023

Hosts answered all our questions straight away. Location was excellent - next to the beach.

Nothing to like!

I could not stay in this caravan as there had been a fire. The proprioter would not refund my money even though the property was not fit for purpose booking.com did not want to know and did not offer a refund. I certainly won't be booking with them again if they are happy to advertise propertys that are nothing short of thieves!

Had everything we needed and was very clean

Caravan was comfortable, liked that it had WiFi

Location was superb, walk out the campsite and the beach is 2 mins walk away and the arcades/rides 2 mins the other way. This was the first caravan we have been too that smelt lovely on arrival and did not have that weird caravan smell, it was also the cleanest we have stayed in and had everything we could possibly need, we took way too much stuff with us and did not need to. Make sure you make time to go and see the seals on the beach it is amazing, we went to Horsey Gap but there is other places to see them, Also the best beach we found close by was Caister-on-sea which was about 10 mins away, very sandy lovely beach. Castle Carvery in Caister 10 mins away had the best carvery we have ever had and they have a park and soft play for the kids and obviously a trip to Great Yarmouth as the beach and rides/shops and everything there is excellent.

We loved This caravan but it would be too small for any larger families staying here, we had 2 adults and 2 small toddlers any more and you would not have much room as it's quite small.
