Host & Stay - Pearl Street

The location was ideal.

The toilet seat was dangerously loose and I reported it on day one. My brother called in to see me on his way home on Day 5 and he fixed it. The lift down to the seafront was out of use awaiting repair following fire damage. Disappointing as my mobility is poor and so unable to access it without having to drive.

Location and private parking. Quiet, comfortable and very clean. Nice to have a back garden to sit in. Would stay again.

Only the kitchen window could be opened in the house, and given how hot it was when we stayed it wasn't ideal, hence it was a bit stuffy when we 1st arrived. Had issues with the front door lock, very difficult to lock/unlock, as if the lock itself felt like it was about to fail. I did message the owner about this, and they did offer to sort it for us, but given our shortish stay we just used the rear door. It was just to make them aware so they could sort it for future bookings.

My husband cooked me a fab breakfast in a well equipped kitchen . Weather was so good sat in garden after with cup tea planning our day.

This property far exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival the parking was almost outside the door, but obviously in busier times it may not be so easy. Once we had obtained the key from the key safe we was pleasantly surprised at the size of the accommodation The lounge is a great size and very comfortable with nice warm furnishings and a good size tv although we hardly watched it. The kitchen is a very good size with everything you could possibly need and is absolutely spotless. Behind the kitchen is a patio area which is also a good size and very well kept. Then back inside as you walk towards the bedroom you have a very good sized shower, a toilet and vanity sink unit and the finish in it is top notch. Then you walk into the bedroom and it's also a very good size with the most comfortable bed we have slept on for a long time. This is a really nice, really comfortable and really clean flat /apartment with great access to the sea front, great access to the local shops, pubs and restaurants. Would we visit here again? Definitely!!. Fantastic!!

There was nothing not to like but it would be nice to have a TV in the bedroom, but that's just our personal choice.

Excellent location, good size kitchen, well proportioned rooms.
