Host & Stay - Pearl Street

Would have given the property 5*, but a couple of things let it down. No toiletries in the bathroom, wi-fi hit and miss, back door leading to patio area unlocked upon arrival and patio area could have been given a tidy up. After coming back to the property from a day out, the back gate was widen open as if someone had been into the back garden as the gate had been left propped open. But saying all that, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, glasses etc. Comfy bed with good pillows. Excellent shower. Living room comfortable and nice place to relax. Excellent location. The property was very clean and tidy.

No green bin outside for rubbish and recycling bin was full and council had sticker on saying they would not empty it.also yard could do with cleaning of weeds etc

Smelt strongly of curry. Keybox was a nightmare to use.

Very modern, with absolutely everything we could possibly need, including a washing machine and a dishwasher, which were not mentioned in the advert, so a welcome surprise if we had been staying longer. You need to update what facilities you have on your advert. Lovely.....

....BUT, Curry smell as soon as we walked through the door and strange smell in fridge. Outside bin overflowing, not emptied for weeks, it was hidden behind the shed, we hadn't noticed it until we came to empty the kitchen bin before we left. So pulled it out, so it could be seen from the window 'hoping' Housekeeping would take the hint before the next guests arrived (apparently Thursday is bin day - we would have put it outside the yard up the lane ourselves when we had arrived, if we had noticed it beforehand - we were there Wednesday to Monday). The yard/garden not exactly as pictures as shrubbery has been cut right down which is a shame, as it could be nice to sit out in warmer weather, old rusty barbecue left in yard and a few cigarette ends.

The property was comfortable and had everything we needed for a two-night stay.

Location was great.

The flat was very nice. There was a very strong smell of coffee and a bad smell from the fridge. The bin in the yard were overflowing and had not been emptied for weeks. The coffee table didn't look like it had been clean.

Great location. 5 minute walk down to beach and good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean.

Although it was very clean, there was a very strong, overpowering smell of stale food in the flat. We bought some air-freshener but couldn't get rid of it. Not a huge problem as we were only there for a couple of nights and were out most of the time but it would have been an issue for a longer stay.
