Host & Stay - Pearl Street

Unfortunately we didn't find the place very clean which was very disappointing after most of the reviews said how clean it was and there was dog hairs on blue sofa as mentioned in the guest book at the property by previous guests they also mentioned a doggy smell luckily we didn't have to put up with that maybe more checks should be made, this wasn't great as we do pet free as my wife suffers from allergies .Overall, the place is a good size, but we do feel for the money the least you expect is clean accommodation, and when it says pet free for it to be pet free.

This is our third trip to this property, it is always spotlessly clean and welcoming. The kitchen is excellent and location 100 yards from sea front and equally to the shops and supermarket. Also nice to have a small courtyard and outside space. We visit friends in Brotton several times in the year and will always if possible book this property.

The only downside of our trip this time, when we arrived the fridge was not working, we reported this straight away to host and stay, however whilst they had spoken to the owner no one could come out until the 6th Dec after we had left the property, luckily the weather was cold so we could keep the milk outside the back door but if it had been in the summer would have been different. Perhaps there should be a call out service for things like this. Other than that our stay was lovely as always

Good kitchen. Spacious lounge. Easy parking.

Yard needed tidying up. We picked it because it was pet free but we suspected the owner had a dog as there was a photo of one and a bit of doggy smell. As we have allergy to dogs the smell was probably more apparent to us and we did take preventative anti histamine.

Convenient to sea front beach restaurants shops.

Everything was clean, confortable. There was a good natural light inside apartment and we can find all we need in the neighborhood. It is easy to find a place to park and you will also have a private parking if your car is not too big. We made incredible memories there and we will probably return.

We struggled a bit with the boiler but our stay was perfect!

This is a ground floor flat with parking space in alley behind. The flat was very clean and tidy with a well stocked kitchen and we were very comfortable.

To access the rear of the building to park, it was necessary to get round to the alley. It was only accessible from one direction, the other being blocked by kegs from a local bar. The other end of the alley was on one occasion blocked by bins blown over by the wind which we had to clear.

The accommodation was in a prime spot close to the train station and close to all amenities and it was extremely peaceful. The property was well equipped and so cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable for a good night's rest.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a perfect apartment in a great location. This was our second stay and will be looking to rebook in November
