The beds were very comfortable and the house was very easy to keep warm. Really lovely, efficient shower/bathroom.The house was ready before the agreed check in time which was really helpful, meaning we had some extra time there. The location is very convenient.

The living room is noisy due to the busy main road outside. We could not get any terrestrial programmes on the tv. Of course this is a very small house, but there is a lack of storage/chairs in the bedroom to lay your clothes. As other reviews have said, it would be good to have a table to have breakfast/other meals, but I appreciate there is not a lot of room.......It was an excellent base for the town and the surrounding country, but not really a place to relax during the day.

There was no where to put clothes in the second bedroom. Could do with a chest of drawers.

Well equipped, comfortable bed and sofa. Great location.

Having to get up for 8am to get a car park ticket. I couldn’t get into the property on first arriving. I contacted the owner but never received a response. Luckily I worked it out and gained access.

A tastefully decorated and super comfortable home from home. Really appreciated T Bags , coffee and milk, and the comfiest beds we have ever slept in. Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings and great location. Recommend 100%.

Only the traffic noise but that's the price you pay for central location..

21 Pound Cottage is a beautiful little home, decorated and maintained in a very tasteful, up to date manner. The cottage was very clean and warm. I loved having coffee and tea ready for us. Liz, the owner, was very helpful and kind to us, as was the cleaner on our final day. We obviously couldn’t use the garden or summer house as it was winter, but think it would be a beautiful place to spend time and relax.

There was nothing I didn’t like. If steep stairs are an issue, don’t rent this house, but the stairs add to the charm of the place. I did miss having a kitchen or dining room table. I suspect that most people go to eat in Petworth (which we did as well as visiting family) so it would have been nice to have a table to eat our breakfast off. This wouldn’t stop me from recommending the cottage or from wanting to visit it again.

This wonderful little cottage was perfect for our family of 4 adults. Beautifully appointed, comfortable and conveniently located in Petworth. Highly recommend visiting Petworth Park which is within walking distance.

Location was fantastic. right in the heart of the town. Parking right outside and for £2.90 whole day parking. Sunday is free. Petworth house is just a short walk at the other end of Lombard Street. Google map lied and said it is approximately 17 mins walk and showed the route along the main road where cars go. But just walk up Lombard street and you are there!

Nothing, wish it was summer time so we could use the summer breakfast room. But we visited in December so can't really enjoy that room.

Great location and really pretty property. This was a return visit, we stayed last year and were as delighted this year as we were last year. It's really convenient for Petworth House, the town and the Newlands Gallery.

The oven wasn't working, but the host wasn't aware and thanked us for our feedback. I can't imaging many people use it whilst staying there, as there are so many lovely places to eat and there is a microwave.
