The house was beautifully presented

The road noise. The evenings and nights were warm and the couple in the front bedroom had to open a window to cool down, so were constantly being woken by cars

The location is good, very central. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen facilities are easy to use; the kitchen is also well equipped.

The property was not clean. There were cobwebs throughout the property, and dust gathered. In the summer house, there were bunches of human hair on the floor, I found 3. The kitchen fridge was dirty and had not been wiped. The floors had not been mopped. It’s clear that the cleaning is very basic. Behind the door had cobwebs, and when I checked under the living room cabinet, it was full of thick dust, so I don’t think a brush had ever gone under this. Dirt inside the cutlery draw. The toothpaste holder had dried toothpaste/saliva around it. I took photos but I’m not going to upload these, as it’s not particularly helpful.

The accomodation was beautifully renovated with excellent supplies for the bathroom and kitchen including coffee pods. It had a separate sun room with heating and seating as well as outdoor seating. Everywhere was walking distance. We loved Petworth House and walking around the lake there. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants including a tunnel indian restaurant with great food, service and amazing ambience. Tiffins of Petworth was a lovely tearoom/cafe . The Angel Inn was a fabulous old pub with great meals. There was a large cheap supermarket car park at the back entrance which you could book on line for your stay.

The stairs had very narrow treads and were steep. Luckily the toilet was upstairs with the bedrooms.

Really cute property with everything you need. Be perfect for a weekend getaway to walk Petworth and enjoy sitting outside. Great location. And like the parking outside the gate. Everything was new and clean and very welcoming

The stairs into the property are very deep. We had heavy suitcases from our weeks of travel so they are a little tricky.

Beautiful house and lovely courtyard The bed was super comfy with lovely bedding.
