Luxury 2 Bed, 2 Bath Apartment

Nothing - it was not clean.

It was not clean, the beds were uncomfortable. We did not have tea bags, coffee - the paper towels in the kitchen were toilet rolls. The dishwasher had food scraps inside. Both showers were filthy with mould and hair.

Lovely, spacious, modern apartment situated a 20minute walk from Manchester City Centre. Very quiet with excellent facilities.

Needs to be cleaner, lots of points found within the apartment that hadn’t been cleaned.

As requested please see the reason why a full refund is more than justified. We arrived on the Saturday. I called the number on the booking as we the address shown number 14 didn’t match as the address is took us too was an apartment block with a name not number which resulted in us walking up and down in confusion. After 10 minutes the contact called me back and said who’s this. I explained I was trying to confirm the address and how to get into the apartment. They were shocked and confused and sounded like they had just woken up. They asked us to wait outside. Luckily another resident entered and asked if we wanted to wait inside. He left us waiting 15 minutes and then came down with the keys and a bin bag. Which arose our suspicion that he had been in the apartment and had to clean in a rush. We entered the apartment which was freezing as the heating had been turned off. Straight away we noticed the sink was left with dirty sponges. The glasses were left wet which were likely cleaned by the dirty sponge and The fridge was dirty. I then went to the toilet and just by lifting the toilet seat it fell out the wall. My partner then checked the bed sheets which were absolutely disgusting. As you can see from the photos they were both covered in rips, stains and hair which clearly shows the sheets haven’t been cleaned in a long time and clearly used for a long time which resulted in rips. Straight away I messaged the Owner to let them know we had left the property due to the reasons above and requested a full refund. Since then I have had no response at all from the owner. This should give you more than enough evidence that the whole experience was extremely unprofessional and worryingly dirty.

It was dirty. Not been vacuumed. Bath mat had someone’s hairs on it..as did the shower. Dirt and used paper in drawers. Both toilet seats were broken. Poor facilities. No bread knife, no bread board, no mirrors in bedrooms, no side plates, no bowls to cook in or serve from. Contacted host about cleanliness. He said the cleaner would arrive…no one did.
