The building is conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and bars yet far enough away to where you don't have to deal with the noise. The apt was fully furnished and clean. I would likely consider rebooking here.

The staff were friendly and professional. I would only suggest a couple of things. First, I was not made aware of the construction happening right next to my room. Had I known ahead of time, I likely would have requested a different room. Also, the instructions for the keypad entry and air conditioner need to be more specific in detail as it took too much time trying to figure them out.

The layout of the building meant I had to change elevators to get to the roof/to the apartment. The WiFi was slow and regularly dropped out.

Location was perfect. We were worried as a lot of reviews take about the steep climb up the hill to this hotel but it wasn’t that steep at all, there are two entrances which help accessing different parts of romantica. It is straight up from the Sail!

I felt the name is deceiving. I would not call it Ocean View if there is no ocean view. When I spoke to the management about this they simply said it is just a name and they do not mention in the advertising that it has a view. They are correct about that… apart from the name. Also I didn’t like that we had to wear wrist bands for our whole stay. On arrival our door code provided was incorrect and had to WhatsApp the management to gain access with a different code. The safe in the room was locked so we could not use it. The management made little effort to fix this.

I only wish there are curtains in the guest bedroom so the room can be darker so I can sleep late

The name of the place is Sail View 105 Vallarta, Ocean View. There was no ocean view.
