Clean & cozy

Just a safety gate but was easily solved. Really attentive & prompt in their responses- excellent hosts

Lovely cosy cottage in the heart of the village, very easy to get around. Nice to have Xmas decorations lit when we arrived and an ample tea/ coffee tray.

The road and junction outside the cottage could be a little noisy and quite busy. I would think it would be a little squeeze for 6 people.

Very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Superb location.

Cottage is cute but spacious with comfy kingsize beds, good shower and nice size kitchen / diner with tv. Has everything you need for a break away self catering and it’s also dog friendly with plenty walks. Perfectly located for parking up for a few days and being able to walk everywhere as it’s right in the heart of Kendal town centre surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurant’s. Short walk to Kendal castle for great views across the town

Nothing much, everything was ideal. If I was to be picky then I would put a runner down at the front door if dog friendly, the cream carpet stressed me out with the bad weather so we put a large towel down to cover the carpet. Also a bigger fridge would be better but managed with the small one.

The property was nice & clean. Very welcoming, warm & cosy.

The tv was intermittent which didn’t help with a two year old watch her favourite Paddington bear.

We loved staying at Wee Toad Hole! It's located just 1-minute walk from the bus stop and within walking distance to the centre. The whole house is cozy and beautifully decorated. The host was so thoughtful with every single detail and very responsive. She's always there to reply to my texts instantly. We just loved the place very much :)
