Apartment 4 - The Kings

The location was perfect. lt was central and so close to The Shambles and beautiful shops and Restaurants.

The main door to the Apartmrnt block at the front of the building was not secure, as would not lock and could be pushed open. l did report this and was attended to. However it was found to be left open on a couple of occasions, very strange and a little disconcerting.

Cleaning of living room furniture. Large amount of crumbs in sofa and chairs Very steep 1st section of stairs very difficult even with small luggage and and when taking out rubbish. Lack of clarity in information about need to walk round corner and description of front door..

Every attention has been made to detail. Beautiful home very well equipped

The apartment is really beautiful and there's a lot of space. In the kitchen there's everything you need I mean everything The location is perfect The owner of the place is fantastic

Very central location, great character and very good amenities

I know there was a problem with the dropbox, but having to go to the agent's office at start and finish of stay, especially given the difficulty in parking in York, was a burden. It would have been nice to have just a few basic starter toiletries when you've paid £600! In the afternoon the buskers do intrude .....

The size, the views, the location

No soap for the bathroom Not very much of a welcome pack there were four us and there were only two packs of biscuits. Could have done with a rubber bath mat for inside the bath to help prevent slipping.

Location was perfect in the City Centre, 5 minutes walk to the Minster and the Shambles. Christmas market almost on the doorstep.

Had a problem with the underfloor heating overnight on the first day. It was very cold in the lounge/dining/kitchen area. Bedrooms were OK. This problem was dealt with following a telephone call to the agents on the second day. The heated towel rail in the bathroom did not work and we were advised that it has never worked.

Great city centre location

The property was cold especially the living room kitchen and dining area. We had NO hot water the first day and had to call for help. Also only having one key was a pain. The bath plug didn’t work properly so it drained as quick as you tried to fill it
