The HOTEL SANRAKU KANAZAWA

Bardzo przyjemny i zadbany hotel. Bardzo nam się podobał, dobrze się w nim czuliśmy. Śniadania zdecydowanie polecamy. Personel zaangażowany, bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny. Wieczorem występy muzyczne na żywo. Klimatyczny ogród!

立地、清潔感、豪華な朝食会場、金沢の街感満載でした。 朝食ビュッフェに、スパークリングワインがあったのは、海外の気の利いたホテルのようでした。

部屋は素敵でしたが、狭くてトランクの扱いに不自由さがありました。

Great room and service

Staff lovely. Personal check in rather than machine as in some other hotels. Clean rooms.

Very nice breakfast and good location. Comfy, big bed and the hotel overall is nice, plus it has a shuttle service to the main station.

Rooms that are facing the garden are actually in the inner court so you can see all the windows on the other side, so to profit of the garden view one would need a room at the lower floors. The hotel needs some renovation as it is a bit outdated.

Hotel Sanraku was one of the hotels in Japan that truly impressed us. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and elegant, with a warm atmosphere that made our short stay in Kanazawa feel special. The location was also excellent, with convenient access to Kanazawa Station, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, the Nagamachi Samurai District, and the Higashi Chaya District. Our room was lovely, and my wife was especially impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided. She kept commenting on how much care seemed to have gone into making guests feel comfortable, and those details really added to the sense that this was a hotel that paid attention to its guests. The service was also exceptional. At one point, I had a concern about a Sagawa luggage delivery message, and a woman at the front desk helped us with patience and care until the confusion was resolved. It turned out everything was fine, but her kindness and professionalism gave us real peace of mind. Even though we only stayed briefly, Hotel Sanraku left a lasting impression. Between the beautiful room, the excellent location, the thoughtful amenities, and the wonderful staff, it became one of the places we will remember warmly from our trip to Japan.

The only thing we did not like was that we stayed for just one night. Both my wife and I were taken with Kanazawa, and after Kyoto, it became the city we most hope to return to someday. We would have loved more time to enjoy Hotel Sanraku, its thoughtful amenities, and its excellent location.

Sanraku is a very well appointed modern hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms at a very reasonable price and within easy walking distance of most of the main attractions in Kanazawa. There is a lovely garden in the centre, it’s worth paying for a view of it from your room. The restaurant was a standout for us - the breakfast buffet was outstanding with the best and freshest selection we’ve experienced at any hotel (we normally avoid hotel breakfast buffets), and the set menu dinner was one of our best meals in Japan, delicious and beautifully presented with fantastic wait-staff who intervened at just the right times, not hovering like many. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We even bought several pairs of the hotel gold handled chopsticks, they are so elegant and delightful to use and we were wrapt they had them available from the hotel gift shop.

A swimming pool would have been nice but doesn’t seem to be a thing in Japanese hotels.
