Shared bathroom

Polite and very humble owner, All amenities available right from internet ,kitchen to Washing Machine. Clean water for drinking available, owner also keeps snacks for his guests for no charge. Best guest house in Samarkand.

Single shared bathroom, may have to wait incase of many people. Also With rooms being on 1st floor, you need to come to ground floor to use the washrooms. Rest

We enjoyed our stay here. Great value, beds were comfortable, rooms with AC & TV, towels and soap provided. Everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Within walking distance to most sites, but in a residential section where you can really get the feel of everyday life. Around the corner are a couple non-touristic restaurants to eat plov with the locals. There is also a kitchen available with hot water, tea/coffee, and drinking water. There is a washing machine the owner let us use free of charge . We asked the owner to help us organize a guide for the city--he set us up with an English speaking guide with a car for a full day tour for our group of 4, price $100. It was very good, I would recommend it. For the price, location, and quality, I would highly recommend this stay with a very friendly host.

As other reviews noted, just know the shared bathroom is downstairs in the common/kitchen area (which is where the host and his son sleeps). However, this should not deter you, as the bathroom is extremely clean and it does not feel awkward.

The shower and toilet are downstairs while the bedroom is upstairs. It's not a deal breaker for us, though. The location link for Google Maps is a bit off on booking.com. Better use Yandex or call the owner before coming.

Cleanest hotel in Samarkand (and I mean that, we haven't seen another hotel this clean in Uzbekistan)! Beds are sturdy and great. Amazingly nice host who is willing to help, a good breakfast and a good location close to Gur-e Amir and the University in a neighborhood for people who want to see the daily life in Samarkand.
