Lovely homely home. Very comfortable. Plenty of room. So many extras that just made the stay perfect for us. Short drive to lots of lovely places.

I can honestly say for the money that there was nothing we didn't like.

We usually go on a little caravan holiday easter weekend... this year we decided to book this little gem and we're so glad we did!! A fraction of the price and 10x the space. Every possible thing we needed was there ready for us! Great location as we enjoy trips to whitby, Scarborough and Saltburn. Lovely little chippy out the back!

Very well equipped house, plenty of space and nice touches from the host such as fresh milk int he fridge and a bottle of wine.

Not having access to the car from where it was parked at the back of the house to unload/load (the garden door was locked). Lingdale itself isnt particularly scenic but loads of lovely places on the doorstep. Could do with new bed linen in some of the rooms.

Beautiful large house! Quite location and just 10 mins to the beach! Decor and the original features were just beautiful!

Amazing property, comfortably furnished, and very 'central' to all the locations we wanted: the coast, the Moors, Danby and Cleveland Hills. Ideal. Following meh first impressions from the page on Booking I can tell you that THE PHOTOS REALLY DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. It's a large-premisis decorated with a cottage feel (ok maybe not the Venice bit) Theres a fantastic yard at the back perfect for outdoor eating. The steep stairs, high ceilings and 'creepy-Victorian-industrialisation-gothic-smalltown' feel of the neighbourhood, make it seem like the perfect place to start your adventure. Sincerely. Its just 'very nicely done'.i really do recommend coming here... excepting the one reservation below.

It was freezing cold at night (mid October) and the central heating was off except for the two ground floor rooms we werent using much..We assumed this was (understandably) due to the recent massive rises in fuel costs. However, we were told the heat would 'come up eventually' but it was simply not connected. I was also asked if I am from the South (I'm not :)) ). Happily, there were plug-in electric heaters in the bedrooms. But the bathrooms were literally icy on the second night and i couldn't really wash for long. Bring slippers. However, I don't think this would be a problem in warmer months.plus the price was unbelievably good so I shouldn't have expected 'a free lunch'. Just that, had I known, I'd have packed more.

Very low cost, large property in excellent condition. The hosts (who don't live at the property) were easy to contact. The facilities in the property were great, from the WiFi to the bedding and the bottle of wine provided on arrival.

Nothing was problematic. The house was exactly as described and excellent value.
