Levens Rest is a lovely, compact place, on a quiet street with lovely views on the morning dog walk. There's a great dog walk nearby along the river. The space was very well equipped and comfortable. The photos didn't really do it justice - it's really thoughtfully planned out and decorated.

A note on where the consumer unit was to switch on electricity upstairs would have been helpful, but we figured it out and Ady was quick to offer help. Also, arriving after dark made it tricky to be sure we'd found the right cottage. In the morning light we felt silly because it's obvious, but maybe a light at the end of the path would be useful.

Nice apartment, well equipped in good location for visiting the Lakes. Accepts pets. Owner, Adi, very responsive.

Had issues getting the towel rail to work and could of done with instructions. Owner Adi did provide some information when requested, but we only got it working the once. The King bed had a very narrow access down the one side.

We had the most fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage! From the very beginning, communication was seamless and friendly, making the whole arrival process a breeze. Check-in was effortless, and we were immediately impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained everything was. The cottage has clearly been recently renovated with great care-the décor is stylish, cozy, and full of charm. It felt incredibly comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect: peaceful yet well-connected, with a lovely walk right from the doorstep that we thoroughly enjoyed. It was also an ideal base for exploring the Lakes-we could easily reach all the places we wanted to visit. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little home at the base of the lakes. Great location. House is clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Communication with Ady was smooth and fast. We slept really well here as well. The tv works, WiFi works, beds are comfy. House is dog friendly. Parking right outside the house. Bathroom is clean with hot water and good pressure. Kitchen is well equipped and modern (we appreciated the high counters as tall people).

Nothing to complain about our stay. As for the area - book restaurants/pubs in advance especially in the summer months. Lots of great eateries to choose from. If you drive an electric car, there a slow charger about 8min walk (the only one in the area).

This place was excellent. Very nice decor and comfortable and homely. Couldn't find something and the lovely host was very quick to respond (it was there all the time !!) Wish we had stayed a bit longer in this wonderful part of the country.
