Kempies-Cozy house on the NC500

2 mins walk in either direction to beach House was equipped with everything you need everything was clean loved the colour scheme beds were comphy met phill the host nice guy we intend to book again for longer 10 out of 10

Kempies Cozy House- it was just that. Several bedrooms, sitting area, dining room and kitchen. The host was very nice. We had an issue trying to figure out the temp/heat and he was down in two minutes to get things going.

Warm and cherish cost wise for 4 people

The inside appearance was “quirky” but better than first impressions from the outside.

Good location, easy check in. Mostly clean.

Bedding smelt BAD. Like pillows hadn’t been washed in weeks. Plus hairs in the bed. Not pleasant. Location quite odd, on an industrial estate next to a haunted house. House was very cold. Heating didn’t work so could only heat two rooms with plug in heaters. Didn’t even attempt to use the shower as who wants to stand on a manky rubber mat that hides damage to the bath.

Shower could have been more powerful. Towels had quite a damp smell as if they hadn’t been dried properly. Slight issue with heating - we tried to turn it off before bed as it‘s noisy - the control wasn’t where we were told it would be, so spent a wee while looking around for it (found in kitchen) We then turned it off but continued to hear the noise throughout the night. Not a huge issue but we are both light sleepers so were aware of it !!

This place was a great overnight for us as we were travelling round the NC500.
