"Unique, cozy and comfortable cottage"

Lovely cozy cottage located in the craft village of Durness. Excellent hosts who were able to accommodate me for an additional night during Storm Amy. Located next door to the Durness Haunted House so a skeleton for a neighbour is quite unique.

"Not for us"

It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Location was questionable and the exterior was not to our taste. The haunted house next door and the scrap yard certainly made it a memorable stay! Low shower pressure.

"Could be lovely spot except for the outside. First impressions make a huge difference."

Inside property was comfortable.

Inside the property was good. However upon first arrival we did not want to go in. Surroundings are not appealing. Haunted house and mechanics shop were our view. Hot water did not work. No compensation for that.

Beautiful place very peaceful well equipped place. Stayed for 3 nights with our dog Hazel. On a great site with lots of local arts and crafts. It's lovely outside space with lots of bunny's running around. Night sky was amazing 👏

Kaikki mukavuudet löytyivät. Siisti ja kaunis sisältä. Ulkopuolelta ei ihan ehkä näyttänyt niin hyvältä mitä sisältä oli. Hieman kolea alkuun, mutta patterit lämmittivät nopeasti. Bonuksena söpöjä pupuja takapihalla.

The property is basic, but clean the decor is rustic. There is thought gone into it.

The boiler not, so there was no hot water. The owner did tell us that and we were able to take a shower.
