Lovely and cosy clean had everything we needed

i thought it was a perfectly provided flat, it had everything i needed , lovely view over the fields , garden.

The bed could have done with a better. mattress. I slept, but i wasnt comfortable, the springs didnt feel supportive at all and my hips hurt in the morning. probably fine if you are really thin or drunk. As well, decent duvets ( i prefer duck feather but i know you have to have microfibre) and simple cotton duvet covers are not expensive, it think it is high time that the bedding was completely refreshed..it all felt a bit YUK and like a stiff sheet of cardboard... the pillows are small, tough and not many of them.. big thin cushions lost in their covers decorate the bed but are too flimsy to serve much purpose. I think if the bedding was changed the place would be a great deal more comfortable..

Easy - pretty much everything! Such a beautiful place to stay, and loads nearby to do, could happily have stayed another week. Super quiet, away from roads. We saw a few people around, so not isolated, perfect really! Lovely cottage, lovely bedroom (bed a bit hard for me, but that's preference) a chair in the bedroom would be good, heater worked well in the evening. Log basket and firelighters in the lounge, but nothing to light it with and it was full up with ash. But the lounge/kitchen/diner was great otherwise. Cooker worked, microwave worked and kettle worked! No hot water in the kitchen, so we just used the kettle for washing up water. The bathroom was a pretty good size for a small cottage. Hot water in the shower, but not hot taps, Summer though, so not a problem. Outside - wow! Added photos! The views are incredible and the table and chairs in the garden were wonderful for breakfast, a really nice walk across the field, a feeling of lots of space. Very relaxing.

No hot water except for shower Nothing to light fire with. Not deal breakers, just minor inconveniences - the storage heater was off too, so a chilly first night.

Location was lovely it was very secluded. It was a great place to forget about the world

Property could do with freshening up

Location just right for visiting family.

Great difficulty flushing toilet. Towels smelt musty. Front door lock internal knob fell off, so could not be locked from inside until I repaired it.

The location was close to where we needed. It was a fair size.

Could do with a thorough clean. There was mould in the bedroom and kitchen

The property is beautiful situated with amazing views and very quiet.

Sadly the location was the only good thing. The property has a bug/beetle problem which the owner I believe was unaware of, but he assured me that he is going to sort it, so hopefully future people staying will be bug free. Saying that, the cottage needs a good clean, as there were multiple spider webs, that should have been sorted and cleared during a clean before we arrived. We were due to stay 2 nights, but left after 1 night. The TV also doesn’t work as there is no Ariel and no WiFi, so watching it, is a no go! The whole place needs a good airing! It’s a shame, as it could be amazing, but needs a freshen up!
