Everything was superb. The B and B owners were so helpful and delightful. The other guests were interesting.

The hosts, Dave and Pat, were our favorite part about staying here. They were so welcoming and provided very helpful recommendations for dinner, site seeing, etc, Their property is in quiet part of town and so it was very peaceful to stay there. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and used the sauna a few times. Breakfast was delicious! We even did a tour with Dave to visit Campeche and Edzna ruins. Beautiful property and comfortable bed!! Would stay again if ever back in Merida

A bed and breakfast is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast, often with the hosts living on-site, creating a homey atmosphere. However, our recent stay at Ochenta Dos Bed and Breakfast proved that some places can transcend this definition. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. As many have mentioned, the place is artistically curated and picturesque. The breakfast served each morning was better than many hotels and restaurants we’ve visited. Others have documented those things much more eloquently. Upon our arrival, we were provided with a detailed map highlighting hotspots and points of interest around Merida. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, they not only suggested and provided a list of places, but also went the extra mile by making reservations for us, ensuring we didn’t miss out. But what truly set this B&B apart was the friendly, authentic and honest assistance from Dave and Patrick themselves. Their local insights and willingness to share experiences helped us navigate the city making it easier for us to enjoy the city and culture, rather than spend a lot of time trying to “figure things out”. Then there was the laughter and stories we shared and the warm hospitality they exuded in order to create an unforgettable memory of our stay. Having traveled extensively, we’ve learned that it's often the little things and the people you meet that make any trip truly memorable. Our experience with Dave and Patrick (as well as meeting the other guests) captured that perfectly. We can't wait to return!

Everything met or exceeded expectations. I only wish we had planned a longer stay - there is so much to see in the area and we did not have enough time.

Very confortable, amazing breakfasts, nice relaxing pool, spacious room with a very nice bathroom with an "outside in nature" feel. Dave even offers great day trips to explore the surrounding areas !

We loved everything about our stay. Especially the owners Dave and Patrick. They gave us great suggestions on what to see and where to eat during our stay. The highlight of course was the 5 star breakfast we were served each day. Their home is a hidden gem, we loved coming back each day to enjoy a swim in their pool. We also enjoyed a day visiting several Haciendas with Dave. He is a great travel guide. Do yourself a favor and book one of his tours.

We didn’t like the strict time schedule of breakfast in morning. 9 am sharp! Most other places that included breakfast had a range between 8-10. Sometimes would have been nice to go earlier, other times a more flexible time would have been nice .

What a beautiful little oasis with absolutely wonderful hosts! The room was lovely and the pool was absolute bliss on hot afternoons or to relax in after long days exploring all that Merida has to offer. Dave and Pat looked after us very well, the breakfasts were delightful, and the extra options available were great. I had a wonderful massage from Caesar to work out the kinks from a long flight, and Dave's day trip to visit the cenotes was so, so special. A trip to remember and we'd be back in a heartbeat.

Dave prepared exceptional meals for each morning, something new every day. And breakfasts were enlivened by the interesting people who chose to stay at Ochenta y dos. Though not in the heart of the city it's a doable walk or inexpensive uber ride to where you want to go.

A great stay, clean, quiet, nice pool, great beds, and air conditioning if you need it. Each morning Dave prepares an amazing cooked to order breakfast. Hosts Dave and Patrick had lots of great recommendations on Merida, whether you are a Do It Yourselfer or need an organized tour. Free Parking out in front. It is an Oasis in the heart of Merida, The Bed and Breakfast is very centrally located to anywhere you might want to go in Merida. Very safe and secure and close to a lot of great Restaurants. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer. Could not have been better.We will definitely be back.

Nothing we did not like, Dave and Patrick have a couple of dogs (rescues) that are very friendly and clean. If you did not like dogs than perhaps you might not want to stay; but not a problem for us or the other guests.
