"Fabulous time with lovely hosts"

Lovely welcoming hosts who also offer excellent guided tours - I can thoroughly recommend Uxmal with Dave - superb breakfasts and a wonderful pool in relaxed surroundings.

It was a little far out of the centre of Media but walkable or a short Uber and it means it is quiet.

Our room was super comfy, well appointed and had a wonderful shower. The pool was great to take a dip in once we got back from being out all day. The breakfast was delicious. Dave and Patrick were amazing hosts, full of tips and suggestions for best sights, restaurants, cenotes and temples. We felt totally at home at Ochenta y Dos, and staying here made Merida and the Yucatan come to life.

The breakfasts were terrific. Every breakfast was different and it was clear effort and thought had gone into them. I looked forward to them every morning. I enjoyed the pool, the poolside showers and my room overlooking the pool. I also enjoyed the Hacienda Tour one of the owners took another guest and myself on. It was an informative tour, covering a variety of historic haciendas just outside the city. The lunch at one of the haciendas (now operating as an upscale hotel) was a highlight.

Personally I would have liked breakfast served slightly earlier than it was (at 9am). It didn’t bother me unduly as I didn’t have a tight schedule but I could imagine some guests with busier itineraries might be tempted to skip it.

The house and the garden are really nice, we had great time at the pool Bedding really confortable Breakfast is okay

Booking says it is the center of Merida but it is not, it is 30 mn walking to reach the zocalo. It is a pity that we had to pay a early checking to take the room whereas the house was empty and the room ready. We live in Mexico and it is the first time we face that. It was not our first trip in merida and you can find a much better price quality ratio and a welcoming closer to mexican standards.

lovely place. very friendly and chatty owners. lots of dogs. great pool. very relaxing. good advice on what to do locally. very good breakfasts. best guacamole during out three week stay in mexico. if I ever return to Merida would definitely stay here again.
