Amerivu Inn & Suites - Helen - Downtown

Location was ok, short walk to everything.

Rooms are dated and I think our used to be a smoking room. Towels and pillowcases were old and yellow...take your own pillows and disinfecting spray. Bathroom was not sanitary.

It was very comfortable rooms for the price. Would stay again.

Maybe a little upkeep around the property. Add some outside decor or flowers.

The pool should have been functional. This place is in bad need of upgrades. We had to change rooms on the last night of our stay bc the lock on our door stopped working. We were told they couldn't get someone there over the weekend to replace the batteries so we were offered a different room. This was around 5 in the afternoon. We checked out around 10 the very next morning. I had left a hairclip clipped to the lamp in the first room so I asked if I could go look to see if it was still there. I was told the room had already been rented out. So, did they rent out that room to someone else without the lock working or what. Who knows, you can decide for yourself. The only way we knew the lock wasn't working was because we tried to get in without the key card. Otherwise, we wouldn't have known.

The staff was super friendly. Excellent location with access to downtown and dinners. The only concern was cleaning ness of the bed sheets.l saw they changed them but it seems their vendor doesn't do a good job on delivering them clean ones and I strongly advise the hotel manager to consider using another provider for their own reputation.
