Escape 2 Unwind, Minster Retreat - Sleeps 5

Everything was lovely, clean , warm and inviting. Perfect location, everything in walking distance.

Truly… I haven’t got anything negative to say about this accommodation. It’s lovely.. I would highly recommend.

Good location. Lots of space. Generally good facilities. Hosts stayed in touch.

Bedding was a bit shabby. Hot water ran out in top shower.

Perfect location to explore the city centre. Lovely space to relax in the evening. Host very helpful.

Being so central you get the inevitable noises from the city at night. Nothing some earplugs didn’t sort out! The stairs up to the apartment are very narrow so getting the luggage up was quite tricky. Once you get in the door though all is forgiven. It’s a cracking wee place to stay.

Sat in a great location in the centre so perfect for sight seeing. Was exceptionally clean with everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

One of the two bathrooms was a little cramped but otherwise no complaints.

Location handy to train station & all the sights. Spacious, clean, beds super comfy, loads of power points everywhere, kitchen facilities good. Showers were excellent with great water pressure. Loved the bathroom mirror that had the light in them (saved having main light & extractor fan during the night) Communication was quick & all instructions for access easy to understand.

Nothing I didn’t like, but be prepared for the steep stairs to the apartment if you have luggage. The main bedroom does overlook the road outside which can be a bit noisy. Having said that, these 2 things would in no way stop me staying here again as thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Nice, large, kitchen supplied, dishwasher, washing machine. Location good.

One br is upstairs with no bath. The bathroom is down a perilous flight of stairs if you need to use it during the night. My husband ended up sleeping on the sofa bed downstairs. Bringing luggage up and down stairs was hard. Steep and narrow.

Lovely apartment close to the minster. Well appointed and furnished.

Ensuite bathroom was tiny and with 6ft5 husband..not a chance! Luckily the second bathroom was a bonus🙂 Otherwise fab apartment

Very clean, lovely modern decor, great size rooms and fantastic location - 5 minute walk to York Minster. Netflix was logged in and ready to go and there were a great choice of teas and everything you need ☺️

The curtains were lovely in the main bedroom - only thought is it would have been nice to have blackout curtains as it gets very bright in the early morning but this may just be me being fussy!
