Sleep next to a Horse in a stable by the city !

A really unique experience. The cats and horses were great!

I thought there were two beds but only one made up when me and my sister arrived and the host was unable to rectify this on the first night. No openable windows in the apartment.

Excellent and unusual room. Set at the end of a short farm road, in a stable block, the room is spacious, clean and has enough facilities for a few days stay with our any issues. Fridge, two ring hob, sink etc. Lovely big shower room/ toilet and of course a window into the stable next door with "Percy" the lovely horse.. Lots of friendly animals and humans out and about! Very close to the city if up for a walk too.

Finding the place was a slight challenge but Chris talked us in from the top of the track and once you know, you know.

Great fun and a lovely room.

A great novelty b&b located away from any disturbances. Make sure you use the what three words app as it is difficult to locate without it.

As other reviewers have said and I do agree, the beds are a little uncomfortable. I know the room is located on a working farm but it could do with a bit of a dusting in the corners.

Parking was close by to the property. Kitchenette had most things if you were staying at the property. It was nice and clean on arrival.

The road to get to the property was extremely bumpy lots of pot holes, it would have been good if this was included in the property description. It was quite hard to find no real description or picture of the outside of the property which again would have made it easier for us. The host was around then disappeared, no real key handover. The mattress was very cheap and you could feel every spring. We left our car at a friends during the evening and as the host could not see our car, he entered the property without knocking at 8am - check out was not until 10am. He did shut the door and apologise but not very good. Check in from 4pm - which we advised we would be there for, Property was not ready (we arrived 40 minutes late) he host advised he was running behind as he was still inside the property when we arrived. Pull out bed and bed are in the same room no separation. Horse was not inside for check in and removed before 8am, not much time with the horse in view and our children missed seeing the horse in the stable completely.

Open space was lovely and the farm was lovely and quiet and simple. The rooms were very modern and well decorated. Owner was very kind and the people in the general area were very welcoming

Issue with toilets flushing and shower drain wasnt very clean. Other than that everything else was great.

Beautiful rustic countryside setting but really close to all Exeter needs. Wonderful experience with the horses, Lily the Great Dane, other dogs and cats around. Great paths and bridle ways right outside. And saw the Air Ambulance. Brilliant.

It's a charming spot and it could have only been better if our dog Trooper had been with us.
