Capitol Hill 1 Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking

The flat was so clean with comfortable beds. It had enough supplies, and the restaurants and coffee shops are around the corner. There weren't any street noise at night, nor from other guests below. There are two easy carpeted short flights of stairs to get to the room. My family liked them, and it's part of the charm of an old building. Guests will also like the kind and friendly host if one needed to ask questions during or before your stay.

Was good, glad you had the warning about the Hot water. Bathroom curtains could be thicker. Feels like being in a fish bowl at night with the light on. Direction for parking garage could be clearer maybe even include a picture or two of the outside of the garage and a map with a dot to show location. Address alone is confusing as it leads to the front and not where the garage is. Hard to find especially at night. Thanks

It was fun to live in this type of house you usually see only in movies. Beautiful street, quiet. The apartment provides all equipment you would need and expect for a few days stay. Host is very responsive and kind. 2 minutes from subway and street with various restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay in the property. Very cozy and stylish. Everything is very thought through how the spay is organized. We did love everything about it. We loved beautiful view on the street with blossom trees. Kitchen was amazingly equipped. Everything you can imagine to have and beyond. Location is great. We did walking at evenings and enjoyed the area. Just few steps and you have plenty of different cafes and restaurants. Metro station is one block from the Apaprtment. We also did walking to the capitol, it’s all very close.

It was a pity to go back home, even we stayed for a week, I really didn’t want to leave. I would stay longer.

Location, cleanliness, comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, well equipped kitchen. Nice that we could store our luggage until check-in time. It is close to metro station, bus stop and 1 block from a quaint little neighborhood area with lots of restaurants.

Earlier check-in would be nice, 5pm is later than most check-in times. We did not have the ability to adjust the thermostat.

It was great to reside at the Treetop apartment while visiting Washington. We loved the bedroom with the morning sun pouring in through the floor to ceiling windows, the cute bathroom and the well-appointed kitchen! The check-in, all online, was very convenient. And of course, the location is ideal, steps away from a metro station, a large grocery store, and the National Mall with its fabulous museums! Many thanks to the host for providing this wonderful apartment to visitors!

Good communication (almost too much) from Booking/Host. Location was ideal and the historic property charming. Really fun decor. The space was great, sheets were clean, and water pressure in shower was wonderful. Fully stocked coffee station, which was a nice touch. Also, the hosts have really made an effort to ensure a quiet space, which was appreciated-- and no small feat in an old home!

We are used to historic homes, as we live in one, so we enjoy the quirks and the character that come with the territory. However, the minus point for us was that the bathroom really needed a good, deep clean. The dust/grime/hairs on wainscoting and some other surface areas was a little off-putting.

The building was beautiful, and the stay very comfortable and clean. It really made our trip to DC feel special. The location was also great, well within walking distance for us to Capitol Hill. We also appreciated the help with parking ^^

There is nothing to not like. However, just a heads up that the stairs are narrow, normal for old houses, but just something to keep in mind.
