Sala Siem Reap & Spa

We stayed at Sala Siem Reap Hotel for 3 nights before continuing our journey through Cambodia. The stay was very comfortable and suited our family perfectly. Whenever we weren't out exploring the temples or the city, we spent plenty of time by the swimming pool, which was ideal with three children who could only manage so much sightseeing in the warm weather. We enjoyed a couple of light meals and drinks around the pool, although we preferred to have most of our main meals at the nearby local restaurants. The food at the hotel was good, but it is worth noting that prices are a little higher than many of the dining options around Siem Reap. The hotel is well positioned, with easy access to Night Market and other popular attractions by tuk-tuk. making it a very practical base for a few days in town.

Room: We had booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a higher-category room (Yay!!). The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed. Complimentary bottled water and the reliable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel were particularly appreciated, and made planning our days around Siem Reap very easy. Hospitality: Very polite and courteous staff. Since we had an evening night bus to PP and had checked out in the morning, the hotel kindly stored our luggage for the day, which was a great help and allowed us to enjoy the city a little longer. Location: Conveniently located in Siem Reap, with easy access to Pub Street and many of the city's attractions. Tuk-tuks are readily available right outside the hotel and getting around is quick and inexpensive. If you prefer to walk, there are also plenty of restaurants, cafés and local shops within a short distance. There is also a Super Market nearby, making it easy to pick up any essentials during your stay.

An ideal spot for a stay in Siem Reap. I have visited Siem Reap on several occasions and selected this hotel because of its value and convenient setting. There isn't really one perfect location in the city, but if you want to be within easy reach of restaurants and local attractions, then this is a very good option. Yes, there are more luxurious places to stay, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. I would place it somewhere between a comfortable 3.5 and 4-star property. The rooms are tidy, well-kept and equipped with all the essentials. Breakfast is excellent with a generous selection of dishes. Rooms on the upper floors also offer pleasant views. Just outside the hotel, you will find numerous restaurants, cafés and convenience stores. Tuk-tuks are always easy to find and make getting around Siem Reap simple and affordable. I never had the opportunity to try all of the hotel's dining options, and I didn't spend much time in the bar area either, as there was simply so much to explore around the city. If you are looking for five-star luxury, there are other choices. However, if your priorities are a well-located, clean, secure and enjoyable place to stay, then Sala Siem Reap Hotel is definitely worth considering.

The staff were all lovely and polite. We had excellent laundry facilities and pool temperature was good. The hotel was quiet. Plenty of Tuk Tuks to bring us to other parts of the city cheaply.

Breakfast items were limited but understandable as off season. The room was advertised as luxury but furniture was basic in the room and room was average size only.

Excellent location, service, value and food. Situated on a quiet little street, so away from the noise and bustle. Gave us a seamless early check in with no attitude. Awesome breakfast spread (would rate it probably as one of the best I have experienced). Walking distance to nearby restaurants and cafés, and it is easy to get around Siem Reap by tuk-tuk from the hotel. Room was extremely comfortable and quiet with good views. Clear number one choice whenever I go to Siem Reap again.

Location was perfect, close to Musiem, City Center, the Night Market and many of Siem Reap's attractions. Staff were friendly, check in and check out were seamless. Breakfast was very good. Lots of options. The pastries were flaky and fresh – well done! The room and the interior of the hotel are simple and traditional. But the rooms are large and clean. Good beds and great shower pressure. We got rooms with great views overlooking the city and pool area. Thank you! The pool area is great. There are lots of well-priced restaurants nearby for a good meal, so we decided to venture out. The Night Market and nearby cafés are great for shopping and lunch, with so many options and reasonably priced food. The best thing: We really appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Google Maps was well used and this made exploring Siem Reap very easy. Yes, if we return to Siem Reap we would stay at Sala Siem Reap Hotel again!

We stayed here for a couple of nights before continuing our trip around Cambodia and I must say this is a fantastic hotel. The welcome on arrival is very friendly. Check in is easy and your bags are taken to your room. The room we had was amazing. Full tea and coffee making facilities along with complimentary bottled water were very welcome after a long journey. The bathroom is nice with a good shower, and the television has plenty of channels for all languages. We didn't get chance to use all of the hotel facilities, but the pool looks very nice and relaxing. What I can recommend as a must for anyone who stays is spending some time by the pool area in the evening. The atmosphere of Siem Reap at night is beautiful and the hotel provides a peaceful place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Séjour merveilleux ici. L'hôtel est situé dans une rue calme de Siem Reap, tout en restant à proximité de Pub Street, du Marché de Nuit et de nombreux restaurants et attractions de la ville. L'hôtel est très agréable à l'intérieur et, dès votre arrivée, le personnel vous accueille chaleureusement. On s'y sent immédiatement en sécurité, à l'aise et vraiment le bienvenu. Le bar et la piscine sont de petite taille mais très relaxants. Avec le grand choix de restaurants, de cafés et d'animations nocturnes à Siem Reap, vous utiliserez probablement les installations de l'hôtel surtout comme un endroit agréable pour vous détendre avant de sortir. De nombreux restaurants, bars et petites adresses locales sont facilement accessibles à pied. Le petit-déjeuner était très appréciable, avec un bon choix de plats, et tout le personnel de l'établissement s'est montré sympathique et serviable tout au long du séjour. Cet hôtel offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix, bénéficie d'un très bon emplacement et dispose d'une équipe formidable. On s'y sent en sécurité et très bien accueilli. Je recommande sans hésitation le Sala Siem Reap Hotel et j'ai déjà hâte d'y séjourner de nouveau.

My husband and I arrived in Siem Reap after a long bus ride from PP and were not looking forward to waiting several hours for check-in. When we went to the reception to ask when our room might be ready, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. Such a relief and such a lovely gesture after a long journey with very little sleep. Our room was on one of the upper floors and had a lovely view overlooking the city and pool area, especially beautiful in the evening. The room was comfortable, immaculately clean and had a very nice bathroom. The pool was a great place to relax after a day exploring the temples of Angkor. I also liked that the hotel is located in a quieter area, yet still within easy reach of Super Market, restaurants and local attractions. We also booked tours during our stay and had no issues with pick-up arrangements from the hotel. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Sala Siem Reap Hotel and would definitely book to stay here again.
