The Rose 508: Stylish City Centre Studio

The property was as exact as what was advertised. Beautiful, stylish and clean… located very well. The host and security guards were really helpful and amazing.

The parking there was a nightmare. The paid parking is beyond ridiculous. One night of parking can cost R700 per day. The bed needs an upgrade. The bed was really really uncomfortable. Lastly after they cleaned my room a few things went missing. It’s nice that they do clean the room. That’s a very nice touch.

Gute Lage, ich habe mich in keinem Moment unsicher gefült. Pool am Dach war sehr angenehm für zwischendurch. Sehr ferundliches Personal.

Friendly staff, lovely place.

The apartment is quite central and within walking distance to a lot of amenities. The Aparthotel is felt safe and the digital locked makes it quite futuristic. The apartment was modern and felt quite new. The pool is also a cool feature on a sunny day.

Lack of free parking is a challenge especially when you are coming to the Rose with multiple bags. The check-in process was rather confusing. While the Aparthotel is called 117 on Rose, the entrance to the place is on 117 Strand and when you get into the 117 Strand building, the security guards will guide to the entrance of the Rose around the corner. The security guards seem disinterested about checking people in and the "no visitor" policy makes the experience unpleasant. Lastly, the lack of temporary bag storage facility was also disappointing. The bed was also quite long leaving a small passage for one to pass through. Strand street is quite busy so getting a e-hailing cab just feels dangerous. The couch could use a deep clean, the bed was rather flimsy and I found strands of hair in the apartment.

Just the place.

I can't invite any person in the room and they didn't say that before I make the payment
