Commercial Street Residence

The location was perfect for our family. The apartment had all that we needed for our stay. The beds were clean and comfortable and the rooms were spacious.

The kitchen/ lounge had a stale damp smell Coming from the oven, washing machine area. I bought a fragrance bottle to mask the smell. The rooms were too hot even with the windows open, another fan was definitely needed. Otherwise no complaints!

We were very disappointed with the accommodation we booked through Booking. Unfortunately the apartment originally booked next door was no longer available due to vandalism. The replacement apartment next door did not match the description and our expectations at all. There was not enough cutlery for the number of guests, the middle bedroom smelled strongly of smoke and was unusable for our children, the carpet throughout was dirty, there was mold and broken fixtures in the bathroom, and all window frames were filthy. While we accepted the noise at night as part of the location, the overall condition was simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, we found that the apartment is advertised elsewhere at a lower price than what we paid for the apartment we originally booked through Booking. Overall, we cannot recommend this accommodation – we expect a full refund.

Clean and modern

You would need to be an estate agent to describe the second bedroom as a double but it was OK for our needs.

The location was excellent. Facilities too.

An issue with the door lock - but y try hat was fixed as quickly as possible by our contact.

The best place

Everything about the apartment was fab, very clean and well equipped. The check in was easy and location is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

A couple of small observations, the blind on the larger window in the livingroom was broken so couldn't be opened, also no mirror in the small bedroom.
