Everything. Location, quality, detail !

Just parking but we knew before we arrived , dropped bags off and drove to the top-no hassle.

Location can’t be beaten, really well equipped and homely property.

This was the best appointed house I have stayed in. Whatever you would want, this house had it, from top notch coffee machines to games console if you have kids. A lovely terrace with loads of space. A well appointed kitchen, it just goes on and on.

The only thing I can think of is a parking permit would be a great addition as Salcombe has tricky parking.

The location was close to town.

On arrival there was scaffolding outside of the front of the building from pavement to roof and the width of the building. I wasn’t made aware of this prior to my arrival. The lockbox was difficult to get access to. Had I looked at previous reviews? I would’ve seen this was an issue for a prior guest at the property. I called the person whose property it was on five occasions leaving one voicemail asking for a return call to discuss the issues listed. I did not receive any communication from them until the following day when checkout was due.Due to the fact there was scaffolding outside of the front of the building all of the front rooms were chilly and had a damp feel to them. We could not open the windows to the front of the building. These rooms had a damp musty smell to them. There was slight mould on the ceiling in the front bedroom. I assume this is why the scaffolding was there was to make repairs to the roof. The main bathroom could have been Cleaner, and in need of modernisation. The beds were not the most comfortable I had ever slept in. The kitchen had the basics. I could go on, however, I would be nitpicking.
