Good proximity to where we were going
Emailed on 3 ocassions about taxis and food and never received a reply. Room was a bit tired looking but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Expensive for what it was

Very easy access to the city of York by train or bus. Staff were wonderful food was great. Bar meals were reasonably priced.

The staff were great. Very accommodating.
The bed was annoyingly uncomfortable. I could feel the springs underneath. The pillows were hard, lifeless, and flat. The toilet ran all night, and the dog next door did not stop barking. From 05:30 you will start to get noise during the week from traffic. Very busy road. For a three day stay, there is no maid service. I had an interest room coffee in that afternoon that I arrived. Day three, the coffee cup was still there.
