It was clean in a nice location

I believe the renter of this property is operating an illegal Airbnb operation. It was very difficult to find and I had extreme trouble getting into the gate, the apartment building and even into the apartment itself because the other guest locked me out. Everytime I left the building I was locked out and had to make phone call after phone call to get back in. I was not allowed per the instructions to call the property management or ask anyone else for help which made me feel very unsafe as I was locked out in the heat for up to an hour at one point so I had to leave. The renter refused to refund my money or cancel the reservation until Sunday and then refunded it through cash app but still refused to cancel my reservation. The tenant inside kept insisting that I give him entrance codes and every part of me felt like I was in danger in and outside of the dwelling. I was told to lie or refuse to answer if I was asked if it was an airbnb or booking Com. Please please cancel this reservation as I did not stay here and don't want it on record that I did. I am extremely disappointed that booking.com does not vet its listing for the legal right to rent out the dwellings and if this research is not canceled I will pursue legal action against booking.com, the property and the renter for putting me in an unsafe and illegal situation. I had to find emergency shelter at the last minute in a strange place and none of this is ok!!

There was trash in the living room, and when I opened the bathroom curtain, it fell on me. I tried to put it back in place, but it wouldn't stay! I left on the first day.
