Robin's Den - Whitby

Location is fantastic. Parking is always an issue in Whitby but you have parking at the property. We walked into the centre, took us around 20 minutes.

It was a long walk to Whitby itself but this made us make more of the coastal walks. Well placed for the Lidl. Very cute little cottage, comfortable beds and sitting room, good kitchen facilities for a short break.

The shower needs work. We tried to avoid leaks by placing towels around the shower tray but still the water went down through the ceiling and into the downstairs toilet. There must have been an issue with the drainage from the plughole because everything else we tried made no difference. We had to be quick and mop up.

Good lounge area. Comfy firm beds.

Shower leaked but reported it and they were changing shower tray.

Perfect location very close to sandsend beach and whitby. Lovely decorated apartment.

Robin's Den is a lovely little apartment tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and the apartment is well kitted out with everything you may need. The apartment is also clean. There is parking which is a bonus although it is a bit further away from town to be a walkable distance it is still achievable.

The upstairs is built in the loft hence may not entirely suit tall people also the velux window in the bathroom limits privacy hence requires the screen down which is not ideal.

Great location, comfy beds, nice furnishings like pictures, games, books, ornaments, all added to the overall feel of the place.

Very small and fixable things.... which we're not terrible or ruined our experience, just really annoying. Broken tin opener Clock was wrong DVD player didn't work The heating was on when we arrived yet it was 23 degrees! Cobwebs EVERYWHERE Rug in living area was filthy Lots of paint damage snd scuffs in all rooms My husband is 6ft4 and he couldn't stand in the shower. A very noisy and annoying vent in upstairs bathroom Wine fridge... not turned on and when we turned it on it didn't go below 14 degrees... pointless. No hand towel in down stairs loo So nothing horrific. Just a lot of unnecessary and easily fixable niggles.
