B50 - Main Square Apartment in Lagos

We were not told that we had to pick up the key from their office within a time slot from another location, ie the management office, until we received confirmation of the booking. We also did not see all the bad reviews about the management company until we received the link providing directions to get to the management office the day before we arrived. As most of the reviews mentioned, there was not enough toilet paper, with only 2 small rolls provided for the 2 bedroom apartment that we booked for the 3 of us for 3 nights, 4 days.We were also not able to connect wi-fi, which they were to provide. There were flies in the bathroom and kitchen and no shower door which made water all over the bathroom every time after we showered. None of the bedside table outlets were working. Since there was no A/C in the apartment, they provided several electrical fans but only 2 were working. Although we sent numerous emails to the address provided by the management office during our stay, in particular asking for fixing wi-fi connection, none of them was responded. The apartment was also located on the first floor of a very old building in the centre of the city square, thus very noisy at night.

Aside from having to pick up the key at the company office, everything else is impeccable and highly recommended.

Great spot! Right in the square, close to the marina, lots of restaurants, and the beaches. Easy, walkable location.

Everything. The apartment is new, very well-maintained, and very nice. The location is excellent because it's in the center of Lagos.

Great location in the center of the city

No wifi. During our stay I called 6 times with the agency. They said they would fix the wifi, but in the end it still didn't work. There is no ventilation in the bathroom and poor showerdrain

Value for money

When we arrived at the apartment there we’re no electricity. The Company that is handling the airbnb asked us to wait until 1800 for us to be move to a different apartment and ask us to move back again tomorrow, but upon checking there is still no electricty at the apartment. Such a hassle. Its no one’s fault but the least thing they was for them to make our stay more convenient for us but its like they dont care

The accommodation was very clean and cheap.
