B50 - Main Square Apartment in Lagos

Very central location

We had to wait one hour to get the keys from our apartment staying in the line of 10 people

Large space. Modern furniture. Night time it’s chill outside.

Harsh white lights. Entryway is ghetto but all good. Very busy during the day so it’s not relaxing. Laundry machine buttons broken.

Everything. The apartment is new, well maintained, very nice. The location is excellent because it is in the center of Lagos.

be aware of the following shortage before your reservation: 1. toilet paper is not sufficient 2. shower water flows out to the ground 3. wifi not functioning 4. the apartment is run by an agent. They committed to send people to resolve wifi issue, delivering toilet paper and providing more towels, but they never come.

The apartment is in a good location and overall it's very spacious.

First of all, you don't find out that you need to grab the keys from somewhere else, only after you booked the accommodation. Once you arrived at the DREAMALGARVE office (I recommend also checking their reviews on google) you are asked to sign some terms and conditions which also say that you need to PAY 20 EUROS IF YOU DONT TAKE OUT THE TRASH- which is totally absurd. Not even in hostels they ask you to take out the trash and here you need to do it yourself. Then, they mention that you have 3 hours to call them in case something is wrong, but they won't pick up and they also say that you shouldn't go to their office. The directions on how to get to the accommodation are confusing and they also don't signalize the apartment well. Once you enter the apartment you get hit by a strong chlorine smell and enjoy the slimy floor, which makes you doubt the cleaning done. After seeing the google review about the BEDBUGS we started checking the mattress and we found a TOE NAIL in the bed. The INTERNET was NOT WORKING, we called them as we arrived, they say it should be fixed in half an hour, but it wasn't solved at all. After checking the other reviews, we found out that this is an old problem that they didn't fix. This, and the SHOWER, which is LEAKING and creates huge puddles whenever you take a shower. Moreover, they don't leave enough supplies for your stay, so we HAD TO BUY our own toilet paper and shower gel, even though we stayed only 3 days. The location is good, but it's also noisy at night - which is honestly expected. Overall, make yourself a favor and don't book this accommodation or anything that is offered by this DreamAlgarve agency.
