The location and property was adorable!

Comfortable, well equipped flat in a great location, great communication from host and good value.

Well equipped kitchen. Quite nicely modernised 'fisherman's cottage (ground floor) in attractive village. Easy parking.

Virtually no starter supplies such as milk. Saggy matress and sofa. Woodlice in bathroom and lighter found behind cushions. Street view only.

The location was beautiful. The flat was very well equipped and comfortable.

In our first week, whoever was occupying the flat above (another holiday let?) got up very early every day, seemingly oblivious that their movements might be disturbing us. They then seemed to have left the property and our second week was beautifully peaceful.

Die Lage ist wunderschön, der kleine Ort ist malerisch und ein guter Startpunkt, um die Orkneys zu erkunden. Es gibt zwei Einkaufsläden, wo man alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs bekommt, einer ist auch sonntags geöffnet. Der örtliche Pub ist ebenfalls sehr nett und recht preiswert. Die Orkneys sind definitiv eine Reise wert, man sollte mindestens 4-5 Tage einplanen. In der Wohnung gibt es eine Box mit vielen Informationen/Faltblättern zu möglichen Ausflügen und interessante Tipps. Die Wohnung selbst ist hübsch eingerichtet, das Bett im extra Schlafzimmer ist groß und bequem. Die voll ausgestattete Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Alles war sehr sauber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gleich vor dem Haus ist ein Parkplatz auf dem wir immer gut Platz gefunden haben.

Limited space but not an issue for a short stay.
