City Centre Apartment - Sleeps 6 - Open Plan

The location

The apartment needs painting & damaged items need replacing (cistern lid in en-suite is cracked, shower seal on base of shower in en-suite being held together by sellotape, toilet seat lid covered in what looks like glue! Main bathroom shower very poor, water just trickles out, part of button of flush is missing) the whole apartment needs painting (marks on walls & ceilings) apartment not very clean (fridge shelf on door is filthy, outside of kitchen bin filthy with spillages) Not sure what’s living in second bedroom, but we have come home covered in bites :-( Main bedroom, bed is not comfortable, could feel the bed springs. Curtains in both bedrooms to thin, so awake early with daylight, so would suggest eye mask if your thinking of staying here.

The apartment was perfect the location aswell just 5 min walk to St James's Park which was why we went to Newcastle my sons a big fan 😀 10 mins an your in the twn we never used our car at all was securely park which was great aswell will definitely be going back again to the same place 😀

There's absolutely nothing that we didn't like was perfect

Tony was a great host from before we arrived communicating with me all the way even helping us with places to go on our visit. The accomodation was in a great place near everything we needed and would definitely go back here again.

The location is very close to St James Park, however, more importantly it was easy to get to from the railway station and also close proximity to the city centre. This meant locations were all easy walking distance. The apartment itself was very clean and fitted the purpose as a base for visiting the city.

Some minor DIY jobs (eg door handles) needed attention, however, these did not have any great impact on staying in the property.

Dwell was a great host and the apartment was well looked after and in a perfect location

The host was very helpful and easy to contact, and responsive when called upon. The location was excellent for my purposes.

My colleague got bitten quite a lot by some type of bug in the second bedroom. The furniture was quite stained and the flat had a greasy layer over it. The elevator was not working and we were on the forth floor, no one alterted us tho this. Speaking to the people who lived there, it has worked for quite some time, so no excuse not letting us know.

Tony was an absolute dream of a host to deal with getting the keys to the apartment was no hassle and nothing was too much to ask of him. He was more than helpful with local spots to visit and where to dine in the evenings he made our stay so much more enjoyable!
