The view of the rock from the balcony is indeed very beautiful. Its a little off the main road so quieter (as we like). The room was relatively spacious and the staff did try and accommodate our requests.

It was not very clean, and we had to request they clean or even just empty the bins. The lock to our balcony door was broken, and though we requested a couple of times, it was not fixed (and we stayed a whole week). We payed for a triple room (a couple with a toddler) but yet most days they served only two portions at breakfast and we kept having to ask for the third portion for our son - even though we payed a full adult fee for his stay. They had nets over the beds but they both had holes in them (and there were plenty of mosquitos) The walls are paper thin so you hear everything all through the night.

Very nice view of the Ella rock from the room. Helpful staff. Food is not exceptional, but not bad either. Good breakfast. Spacious bathroom. Tea/coffee available in the room.

The road towards the hotel is very narrow and uneven. If you come by your own vehicle, I highly advise to park it somewhere along the Ella-Passara road and take a tuk tuk from there.

The view!!! And the location!

Shower is filled with mold, no pressure, no hot water, got bitten at night (some kind of flee). Stuff members are friendly and amazing but not always there to give service.

It´s a short way from the center, but not much than 10 minutes by walk :). You can also use tuk tuk :)

Beautiful and clean place with very friendly and helpful staff! The view from the balcony is great. Ella city center is just within a short walk distance.

The view from the dining area and bedrooms of Ella Rock is beautiful. We had a very spacious room with a very large bed. However the pillows were a bit solid! All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The driveway down to the property is best suited to a mountain goat, rather than a regular saloon car/taxi!! The bathroom was very dark and the shower flooded the entire bathroom (not uncommon in Sri Lanka)

The location is very nice with an amazing wiev at Ella's rock you must see! Thr brekfast was very tasty and we enjoyed fresh juices and fresh fruit. The room has mosquito net. Recommended for your trip to Ella!
