The Villa at 40 Acres - Self-Catering Luxury Farmhouse on 16 hectares

The property is very safe even though it’s remote. We didn’t want to leave to go visit anywhere else around because the house was a whole vibe. We loved that it has a fire place and we used that cause one of the days it rained and we were soo warm.

The drains for showers were clogged

Beautiful house and Isaac is such a lovely person, the absolute friendliest.

We had no water the whole Saturday as we were told a tap was left open leaving the JoJo tanks empty. Was quite inconvenient as the weekend was not cheap.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and offers breathtaking views that made our weekend so relaxing and memorable. The ambience is perfect for a peaceful getaway, with enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. A special mention goes to Isaac, our caretaker, for his exceptional hospitality, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The overall setting of the house is stunning and perfect for a family or group escape.

The house itself was spacious and had potential for a great stay, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was below standard. There was a lot of dust throughout the house, which made it uncomfortable for those of us with sinus issues, we were sneezing the entire weekend. The dishcloths provided were also quite dirty and definitely need either a thorough deep clean or replacement. We ended up buying our own dishwashing sponges because we couldn’t use the ones supplied.

Modern, spacious, clean and well equipped. The hosts, Isaac and Hancy were BRILLIANT.

The only part of WiFi was not specified on booking.com they only offer 2G of data the first day . If there is no internet I think they would just say no internet

Place was amazing, the butlers just need to give a little privacy to the guests but other than that all was good, though there needs to be signage at the turn indicating as there was a little navigator confusion at the turn.
